Woman with a parasol

Also known as "The Walk" or " Essay of figure en plein air ", "Woman with a Parasol" is a painting by Claude Monet dated 1875, made in the countryside of Argenteuil and the subjects represented in this work are his wife Camille and his son Jean. Preserved at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, this painting is considered one of the most famous among those made by this impressionist painter and the aspect that has always attracted attention and that has aroused admiration among critics, scholars and art lovers is the representation of light.
